Re-development of Volleyball in Anguilla, planned.

Officials in Anguilla have taken a number of decisions,
following a recently concluded meeting of the Eastern Caribbean
Volleyball Association (ECVA) held in St. Lucia and attended
by Heather Richardson from Anguilla.
One major decision resulting from
this meeting was a consensus to re-develop the sport of
Volleyball in Anguilla at all levels.
A number of regional tournaments, both youth and adult (male
and female), are scheduled to take place from August 2008 to
2011 and it is expected that Anguilla will be a full
participant.
The Anguilla Amateur Volleyball Association in conjunction
with the Department of Sports will be hosting a meeting at
the Ronald Webster Park on 12th April 2008 at 6:00pm with
residents of Anguilla who are interested in learning and
participating in the sport of volleyball.
All persons who are interested are asked to attend this important meeting.

2008
OECS Senior Male Championships St. Kitts August 14th –17th
OECS Junior Male and Female Antigua September 2008 ( ages 19
and under)
OECS Beach Tournament St Lucia
2009 (World Qualifiers via OECS Male and Female
Competitions)
OECS Women French St. Martin April
OECS Male Antigua May
OECS Junior Women St. Vincent and the Grenadines September
OECS Junior Men BVI
OECS Beach Tournament Anguilla (August)
Further details and the completed schedule will be presented
at the meeting. All are invited and please make every effort
to attend. At the Ronald Webster park at 6.00pm on 12th
April 2008.
