Police in Anguilla confirmed on Wednesday, that they are
conducting enquiries into a report made against the
Honourable Kenneth Harrigan (Minister for Infrastructure,
Communications, Utilities, Housing, Agriculture and
Fisheries), that he allegedly discharged a firearm on
August 01, 2008.
The press release from the office of the Commissioner of
Police stated "Although Mr. Harrigan was once the holder of
a Firearm User's License, as a matter of law, he was
arrested and charged with offenses under the Firearms Act on
August 05, 2008. Mr. Harrigan was released on bail to appear
in court on August 12, 2008". |
